A and I watched the halftime homecoming ceremony reminiscing our senior year homecoming football game in October 2011. For the first time in high school I spent most of the football season standing on the fence watching my classmates play their hearts out and appreciated their hard work. The memories I made in the bleachers senior year are ones that I love to revisit each year around this time. Usually it happens when I hear Kenny Chesney's Boys of Fall. Without fail this song takes me right back to those home games we looked forward to.
Now I feel the need to watch Remember the Titans!

Thanks for linking up! And it was homecoming for my university this past weekend. 150 years!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of years! lol I think our school was one of the last high school homecomings of the year. We've always had our's later in the season.
DeleteThank you for linking up! It was the homecoming game for my high school a few weeks ago and I was supringsly sad that I didn't get to attend. I thought about doing this song for our Oct 1 theme of "fall." Instead I went with the lesser know Friday Night by Brantley Gilbert, which is also about HS football.
